"I started my career working through college in Early Education at a local Nursery School and absolutely fell in love with working with children. Every day is different and seeing children learn grow and make progress academically and socially quickly became a passion. I had finished my college degree and assumed my role in the corporate environment and after a decade, I made the decision to become a certified Ed Tech and work in a local elementary school. I still love watching students make progress and gains and every day is something new to celebrate. Working in Special Education, little wins are HUGE wins and because I chose to leave a corporate environment and pursue a career in Maine Public Schools, I can celebrate those wins and successes daily, so much so that I am also pursuing my teaching degree!"
