Embracing Inclusivity: Winslow's Unified Sports Programs Foster a Family Bond

Winslow Public Schools are a place where everyone can feel included! We not only have a unified basketball team, but students have also put together a unified cheer team at the high school level.

It doesn’t just stop there, though. All our sports are inclusive and create a family bond that can’t be broken. Our varsity wrestling program has visually impaired and hearing-impaired varsity lettered athletes.

Additionally, our Junior High School wrestling program has one student who is deaf, involving an interpreter, and a special needs student (who happens to be my youngest son). They welcome him with open arms, and he actually earned his first win last weekend at their dual tournament!
